Talk About Tundra Friends Together
Watching episodes of Tundra Friends together with your little one is a great way to start a conversation around different feelings and emotions. Use different episodes of the show as an opportunity to talk to your kids about their big feelings.
By both watching and talking about episodes with your child, you will help them to better understand their own emotions. They will see what the characters are going through, and by starting a conversation, you can relate these emotional situations to their own lives.
After you’ve watched an episode together, you can follow-up with your child and ask things like:
Have you ever felt like Tuka before?
What are some things that you do when you feel nervous?
If you feel mad, where do you feel it in your body?
What is something different that you can do the next time you feel upset?
Have your friends ever helped you calm down? What is something they did to make you feel better?
